New Nigel Sylvester collaboration model: G-SHOCK GD101-NS |
Run+design is a weblog centered on mobile lifstyle, smartphones, tablets and all related stuff -- including interfaces (remembering my job as a full-time designer) and app design. I'm also interested in healthy life and sports so it will have it's reflection on blog posts.

Stuff I love: G-SHOCK GD101-NS (collaboration)
New Nigel Sylvester collaboration model: G-SHOCK GD101-NS
Sometimes things don't go as well as they should and there are many ways they can go wrong from that point. In case everything stumbles down from the hill and there appear to be a snowball of troubles upon you in the result you go and hang yourself or buy some bright g-shocks. They can cure what need be and you'll handle the rest.
In other case, when there is no trouble at all except from that one you imagined, you go and hang on every f*cking opportunity to let your steam get out of your head. Or you just can get this black as a crap g-shock (New Nigel Sylvester collaboration model: G-SHOCK GD101-NS). An life will be much better, be sure of it.

Stuff I love: Casio g-shock updates
Hi there, fellow runner with true designer's heart in your healthy body! Merry Christmas and happy new year to you! I've been to Egypt for vacations and so there were no updates recently, my bad. I sure as hell will fix this issue as soon as possible and new articles are to come on daily basis as usually. 30th Anniversary of G-SHOCK in 2013! Super awesome! G-SHOCK Initial Blue Pack is spotted on my facebook feed, so here it is.
By the way, there are some more news and updates of somewhat questionable freshness, but why shouldn't i mention it here if it pleases me? Everybody love burton stuff, am I correct? Anyway, whether you love burton stuff or not, this cute dark and pretty calm piece of machinery deserves your love!
This year will get back to our German language fun so stay tuned and let's improve more sides of our life. Honestly, great plans and unexpectedly big expectations are to arrive in a couple of days.

Totally not awesome collaboration here, fellow runner and designer. White face, white hands, total decoration and no fun at all. Crappiest g-shock watches, I've ever seen. And here they are. Strap is somewhat nice, but it's printed, so it won't last too long.
And here are the facts.

The unique 3-D design of these watches creates the appearance as if they've been chiseled out of stone, creating a look of toughness and solid power. Their concave dials with half-gloss finish cast a menacing shadow over their dials and combined with the case and band's metallic colorway give them an edgy, streetwise look. Casio GA100 and GA110: my g-shock choice
Hi there, fellow runner. Today I'll tell you about two g-shock models of watch which I own for now. I use them both for my regular running activity and have no preference. Why do I use them? It's a habit and a piece of something else. I have endomondo and runkeeper in my smartphone and most of the time i just run, never even start one of this programs and don't look at my wrist, but I do really love my Casio GA-100 and GA 110 watches and always take one with me for a run.
They are completely identical by technical characteristics but features different cases and layout of information blocks on face side. Cases are similar too, but color scheme is different: GA-110 have orange case with green buttons and blue face with orange and light blue hands, while GA-100 have completely white case with gray buttons and dark violet (maybe not violet, but really dark) information bits on it's face.
Functionality, as I've said above, is similar -- I use stopwatch and timer and nothing else. Buttons are easy to find and have soft deep click. Operation manual for this watches looks awesome and really astonishing, but it's quite simple to use this gadget. I have fossils and diesel watches too and they are an example of the complexity here.
This g-shocks are massive and lightweight, they seem to be designed right for my not too big and not to small hand, there were days, when I got to work in the morning and put other watch aside till evening to put them back on my wrist. With casio g-shocks I can wear them all day long and never feel tired. Sometimes I think they work like an energetic bracelet on some deep psychological level. With G-shocks I always want to do more and from time to time I do!
Have a nice day, fellow runner!
