Runner's nutrition: tasty vitamin salad #3. salad rocket and squids in special sauce

Hi there, fellow runner! Here we go with all-new "tasty vitamin salad #3. salad rocket and squids in special sauce". It's another new recipe in our brand-new and extra successful category "Runner's nutrition". This category should be on the top of their's list of those, who are going to reach maximum performance in their weight loss efforts and just trying to make their nutrition healthier. Here is our new salad.

It consists of:
  • arugula (aka salad rocket, roquette, rucola, rugula, colewort)
  • tomatoes (I've taken two of them)
  • squids (about 300 grams)
  • spring onions
Here is how it looks like without adding sauce:

For the special sauce we should use mix of these ingridients:
  • kefir
  • spices
  • salt
  • olive oil
And here is the final look. Mmm.. yummy!

Tangerine post!

Hi there, fellow runner. It's quite time to post a tangerine post! You should know that tangerines are a good source of vitamin C, folate and beta-carotene. They also contain some amounts of magnesium and vitamins B1, B2 and B3. And potassium. Also tangerines are full of Lutein and Zeaxanthin. Tangerine oil, like all citrus oils, has limonene as its major ingridient, but also alpha-pinene, myrcene, gamma-terpinene, citronellal, linalool, neral, neryl acetate, geranyl acetate, geraniol, thymol, and carvone.

Here is the list of chemical stuff, which every tangerine holds in it's depths:
  1. vitamin C
  2. folate
  3. beta-carotene
  4. magnesium
  5. vitamins B1, B2 and B3
  6. potassium
  7. Lutein
  8. Zeaxanthin
  9. limonene
  10. alpha-pinene
  11. myrcene
  12. gamma-terpinene
  13. citronellal
  14. linalool
  15. neral
  16. neryl acetate
  17. geranyl acetate
  18. geraniol
  19. thymol
  20. carvone.
So in this last paragraph I'll tel you the truth: tangerines are tasty and healthy, some scientists even say that tangerine peel contains some substance that prevents diabetes of 2nd type and obesity. Eat tangerines and may the force be wit you!

Runner's nutrition: tasty vegetable salad #1. Tomatoes and peas salad

Hi there, fellow designer, runner and all other types of eaters. Here, in this new section of our articles we will try to describe all those fun and tasty ways to eat fresh, healthy and cool. Let's start with this all new tomatoes and peas salad!

Ingredients for all new tomatoes and peas salad:

  • tomatoes — 3 of them, sliced in half-rounds
  • cabbage and carrots — sliced in tiny narrow and long bits (about 1/4 of final volume of serving)
  • spring onions — about half of cabbage+carrots amount, sliced in small bits
  • green peas — about 100 grammes
  • fresh natural yogurt with no additions like sugar — about 100 ml
  • salt — as much as you want
  • olive oil — as much as you want
  • various spices — as much as you want

Tasty salad

Really tasty salad made of fresh green secret ingredient and not so fresh yellow corns and some fish-like crab stuff and sausage flavored with olive oil.
